my first 4000m peak

Gosh where on earth do I start to actually capture the great experience of my life??? For some people they have no idea why or where I have this burning desire to push myself to the limits, especially when I suffer from a phobia of heights... well for a start I love a challenge! And if you don't know me, i am a very determined little lady!

I think it all started from getting into climbing and alpine just comes hand in hand, a natural progression. I had a taster session at plas y brenin when it was in great conditions for trying out crampons, ice axes etc and i have to say i loved every minute of it and I suppose I got the buzz to do more and push myself.... so i did with a trip to Switzerland to celebrate turning 30. We hired a guide who was my guardian throughout the trip! I feel greatly inspired by him and I have learnt so much about me and my abilities. It was literally blood, sweat and nearly tears!
